ham
Hi AtariAgers Halloween is just a few days away so I thought I’d post my collection of Atari 2600 games based on horror movies. Halloween by Wizard Games – features the first decapitation in a video game and made famous by AVGN. Halloween Proto 2 – The flashing light in the box and Halloween theme music is awesome! Texas Chainsaw Massacre by Wizard Games – Another game made famous by the AVGN. It’s cool that you actually get to play as Leather Face, but that loud beep that supposedly is the girl screaming is just irritating. Texas Chainsaw Massacre Alternate Version – Very nice packaging but it rolls on my so I can’t play it. Alien – one of my favorite movies of all time! The game, not so much. Entity – A CGE release based on a horror movie from the 80’s. Army of Darkness Premium Edition – A very fun game! Reminds me of an upside-down Space Invaders type shooter. Phantasm Premium Edition – This is my favorite Atari premium edition. It came with a signed photo, action figure, other extras, and the cart is red. The game is fun to play too. I think the game has an ending, but I haven’t been able to beat it yet. Jaws – another one of my favorite movies. The game is a hack of TCM. Death Race – Not really a horror movie, but the original movie, Death Race 200, had a good amount of gore. The game is a hack of River Raid. Dawn of the Dead – One of my favorite zombie movies of all time. The game is a hack of Worm War. Thanks for reading my post and have a happy and safe Halloween everybody!

ham
Hey thanks! I was going to include E.T. and make a lame joke about how it's the scariest movie game of all time, but that game has taken enough abuse already.
