Sikor
Last place on Abbuc Software Contest 2012 - only one tool Some info: Sikor Soft *.ota viewer It's the tool that allows you to view graphic messages in *.OTA format, used in older models of NOKIA cellphones. The program works as menu with selectable options. After launching it, the following ones are displayed: I - info about the program itself L - load OTA file, please enter full path with filename and device letter (max. 40 characters) S - save OTA file (usage as above) M - import picture from Atari GR8 or Atari Portfolio PGF format E - export picture into above formats (always upper left corner) V - view OTA data (in hex) D - disc directory (Return - default D:*.* mask) C - clear buffers Q - quit the program There are also some OTA-file examples as well as picitres in "Graphics 8" and in Atari Potfolio PGF formats. While importing the picture, please use cursor keys ("arrows") and SPACE BAR to confirm selected fragment of picture. Last notes: Program supports standard *.ota files with four-byte header $00 $48 $1C $01, and also imports graphics adding this header (72x28px). In theory program should support .ota graphics with other dimensions, but it hasn't been tested yet. Have any comments, observations or maybe ideas? Please drop me a line at: sikor_soft@poczta.fm, and if you want to support me with some donations, please send them to my PayPal acount: sikor_soft@interia.pl with "otav donations" annotation. And ATR in MyDOS format: ota_nokia_viewer.atr
+skr
Last place on Abbuc Software Contest 2012 - only one tool You are the ninth winner. It is always hard for tools as the ABBUC members seem to prefer games the last years. So don´t compare your program with all the games. Bunsen
I like your tiny program although it's completely useless to me. Your idea is much better than 1000th snake clone.
Sikor
Thx, Bunsen. And yes, 185 points is good result - for only one tool in competition.
