intvnut
What about now? Closer? Hints please! Well, given that I haven't even written a line of code yet, no, they're not closer. I do have a couple game concepts I'm pursuing, but until they're fleshed out a bit more, I don't want to make any promises. When I get something to the "playable demo" stage and the gameplay actually looks fun, I'll let folks know about it.

IntellivisionDude
Whats with the D1K, box pending? My D1K came with in a box. I think you are confusing D1K with Donkey Kong Arcade maybe. I'll try and explain this since it seems to confuse a lot of people. Carl Mueller released DK Arcade through the company Intelligentvision. Then Carl created D2K but decided to release it through Elektronite this time. As an added bonus D2K also included DK Arcade (now renamed D1K) and it included a couple bug fixes. I believe they are non fatal bug fixes. Don't quote me but i think he fixed it so climbing ladders was a little easier and maybe a scoring fix. Then finally he also released the fixed version of D1K as it's own separate cart but it was released without a box.

That's a pretty good description with the only adder being that D1K also included the Japanese mode of Donkey Kong (Japanese boards) Japanese mode is exclusive to the D1K release, and is not included in the D2K version. Games For Your Intellivision
That is correct. The difference between DK Arcade (D1K) and the Intelligentvision release of the same game; The Elektronite version has: Digitized sounds (hear the girl talk without an Intellivoice) Japanese mode (Play all 4 screens back to back) 30 Frames per second mode (fixes a problem on some HD TVs with disappearing barrels) smoother control Jumpman is closer to the barrel on start A few other minor issues were taken care of. The DK Arcade box, overlays and manual will be released in January. You can buy a complete in box version, or upgrade your loose copy by purchasing a box/overlays and manual (that replaces the information sheet)

LidLikesIntellivision
I love homebrews and I love the HSCs. So... I would like to see them together! What if we make a HHSC (homebrew high score club)? I don't want to weaken the normal HSC with competition but homebrews, usually, aren't avaible as roms so we usually don't play them in the HSCs. Maybe we could play for a month each game after its realease and when there's no new realease we pick the old ones. Cparsley is a great moderator and managed to come with the outstanding Knock-out HSC with many platforms in AA, I think he can help us to create it and maybe he can be the moderator of this HHSC too! What do you think guys? Let's make all collectors play them for real!
