For the record what your refer to are Lurkers more than trolls. TROLLS post all the time, that is why they are trolls as they are always causing arguments, pissing people off etc. If your not posting you cannot be a troll. Just saying and no......I am not trolling.

What's an Intellivision videoplexer? Do it old skool: get an RCA-to-COAX adapter, and plug it into your VCR.

 

That's what I used to do with the output of my C=64 to record videos for my High School (yes, I was in the AV Club and the Computer Club).

I like trolling lurk. See i am referring to a special type of seller, the ones who just read to forums to see what people are trying to buy, and the post it on ebay, or send the cold calls... But troll or lurk they know who i am talking about. I got my first videoplexer cold call.

I'm bored so i'm going to spam and troll Voltron's thread because i know he would want me to.

 

Here are some pictures i have stored away on my computer. None of these belong to me and i do not own what's in them. I only wish.

 

And i'll be nice this time and not waste AA's storage space and host these myself. That is my Christmas gift to AA.

Now here is a picture of the Atari Videoplexer plugged into the system changer, which is plugged into the Intellivoice, which is plugged into the ECS, which is plugged into an Intellivision II.

 

 

 

 

 

And finally. Why does this beast not get enough love? Everybody always talks about the Videoplexer but never this Kiosk device which i have already forgotten it's proper name. But there is a Youtube video of it in action somewhere.

I still cling to the old ancient definition of an internet troll.. i.e. the ones meant to simply tally replies, and you could never tell were trolls. These days though, simple harassment/flaming has become the de-facto definition of trolling. and while it can be a troll, it's also the most lowest and most obvious form of it. And by "lowest" it means precisely because it is obvious. Used to be once people could tell it's a troll, the jig was up and the troll failed at that point.

 

[www.urban75.com] ...see example #7 for the old school troll. which pretty much doesn't really exist anymore. If that's true that it ran for 3+ years.. that's a successful troll with a very high score.
