Brad2600
I already have 60+ Atari 2600 titles in my collection but I was wondering what are the essential carts? The games that you think every decent collector should have. If you need some idea, you can check my link in my signature to see if there's something I DON'T have that I should look for. I dunno. I noticed how I'm missing some Activision titles like Fishing Derby, Freeway and so forth and I've already played them on the first Activision Classics disc on the PS1 so all I gotta do is pick them up. I dunno. What do you recommend? It would help me figure out what to look for next for my collection. Thanks!
sku_u
I would go for the 20th Century Fox titles and M Network/INTV titles. Most are attainable and very good games. Parker Brothers and Spectravision games are great to collect also, but can get really expensive. The supercharger is also worth looking for because it has some of the best games made for the 2600. +cvga
I think all of the following games are fun to play and have some history attached to them: Adventure Circus Atari Warlords Pitfall II HERO Beamrider - because it's my favorite atari game Q*bert Demon Attack Best of all, none of these games should cost too much! Witchfynde
Warlords the Pitfalls H. E. R. O. Tunnel Runner (a bit rare though)
davidbrit2
Millipede. The 2600 version is extremely impressive, and it's a blast to play. I'm amazed that the programmer was able to cram that much action into the limited RAM and video capabilities. It almost seems more like a Supercharger game. Thomas Jentzsch
IMO still missing are Space Invaders, Missile Command, Asteroids and Kaboom. ... have some history attached to them Speaking about history: Pac-Man and E.T.
Paralistalon
You can't have Atari without Pong! Add Video Olympics to the list! I like Surround a lot. It's the game they play at the begining of the movie Tron. I guess you should add Mario Bros. under the history category too. It pales in comparason to its 7800 incarnation, but it's still a Mario Bros. game. Long live Mario!

Brad2600
SupermanBasketball Bowling Frogger Spider-Man Mario Bros. Have all of them. It's alright if people forgot to see what I didn't have. I have a very lousy memory of anything in my collection so I will double check and make a list of carts to look for to further my collection. I LOVE Spider-Man and it's very cool to play. I also love Bowling and Frogger as well. It's all good and thanks for the suggestions everyone!
