I dont know what was wrong with the regular slim it seemed like a pretty polished unit. This one just makes me laugh. I like the original fats with the PS2 capability but this version is the smallest and has lots of storage. It kind of has a retro feel to it too IMO (the manual door almost feels like an old PS2 or dreamcast). I dont know, I guess if I didn't have a PS3 at all I would get this model over the others (if I didnt care about PS2 discs).
