+DZ-Jay
Does anybody know how to configure a "hack file" for jzIntv in order to make it work with a USB game controller? The point is to play Christmas Carol with it. Thanks, -dZ. Edited December 29, 2012 by DZ-Jay

OutlawTorn71
Not SUB, but USB. Darn you, auto-correct! Ahh yes.. The auto correct Although I like jzintv... I have not used it in a while, sorry Joe I use Nostalgia and it autosets my USB controllers without mapping... which is good for me and my laziness
+Rick Reynolds
I've done this a bit. You just need to know which controller jzintv sees as which. I typically use the joy_diag.rom and/or event_diag.rom ROMs that come with jzintv to figure out what jzintv sees for a given controller. Then you add lines to the kbdhackfile of the form: JS0_<dir> PD0L_D_<dir> or JS0_<dir> PD0L_J_<dir> I've never used the _J_ form - I have always used _D_. I'm not sure how the two are handled differently. More info is in the kbdhackfile.txt file in the doc dir.
