Charlie_
How do you adjust the Horizontal scroll on the standard SC1224 monitors? There's no dial/switch that I could find, although there appears to a screwhole or something on the back of the monitor that;s labeled "horizontal scroll". Do you need to use a screwdriver? If so, how much do you need to turn it? Yes, a small flat head screwdriver. Also do not press in too hard on the pot as the type they used can easily be bent and folded right over. +DarkLord
I think some have even gone so far as to recommend some kind of special plastic tool to adjust those? Can't remember exactly what it was at the momemt...
borntorun
Thanks for the help, everybody! I'm happy to report that I finally have a working copy of "Star Wars" for the ST. I took a chance on a USB floppy drive at a flea market, and found a program that lets you burn ST games onto ST disks using a USB floppy drive. Then after some rather arduous searching, I found a ROM variant that was cracked to work on American ST's.

ParanoidLittleMan
OK. I will try to solve this problem for you. Likely, the game self sets refresh rate to 50Hz after start. So need to remove that part of code - what I do often when make game Falcon, TT compatible. Here is, with fix for 60Hz: http://atari.8bitchip.info/ASTGA/S/starws.php
R.O.T.S
When you start the game and enter the "shoot the tie fighters" phase, the arcade game plays the Star Wars theme. That Star Wars theme always pumped me up to get ready to shoot those tie fighters. However, when I started the game on the ST version, it was missing. It just feels lackluster without it. All the programmers had to do was repeat the title screen music, but nooooo. All I hear is nothing. :sleep:Where's the suspense and the drive to save the universe? I agree and was a little shocked when I played this version,I thought it was corrupted data or something.Shame really because for an arcade Star Wars port it seemed quite slick to me.
