Atari_Bill
Local Kroger-owned stores was clearing them out at 99 cents each. Only had Breakout and Pong left. I put in a request a while back to get the display when our Krogers was getting rid of it. Didn't really think they would ever call me about it. They just did! I heading over to pick it up! Can't wait to place it in the game room.

Jinks
I checked Zellers (well, the one remaining store ) and Toys-R-Us. I have not seen them in any grocery store either. Atari is trying to stay retro to Canada as in no avaibility or marketing for Canada whats a 5200, 7800 etc etc. 99% of people who even had ataris think the only one made was a 2600.. I knew different tho as I seen on a catalog book or somewhere a screenshot of 5200 and 7800 games.. I thought whoa wth are they talking about do they work in a 2600?? Never really seen the other consoles till 2002 on the internet when I decided to be a kid again..
jhd
I have been collecting video games since the early-1990s. In all that time, I have seen exactly 1 (one) 7800 cartridge in a dump-bin at a used video game store. I have never encountered any hardware. According to the Canadian Collectors FAQ: http://www.cgcc.ca/a... Collectors FAQ Atari 5200 Hardware -- Supposedly, the Atari 5200 system saw a release at least in Ontario, and through Atari Canada by mail order. Base system (sold in Southern Ontario, mail order) Atari 7800 Hardware -- Was sold here by Toyville and Toys 'R' Us, K-Mart, and Toy City Edited February 7, 2013 by jhd
