Carol vs. The World! - The Last Stand

It is December 31st, 2012 and with it comes the end of a great year for our little console and the beginning of the new and exciting one. But perhaps more importantly, it marks the end of Carol's Super-Duper Christmas Championship Extravaganza:

Christmas Carol vs. The World!

This is it, the final day, THE LAST STAND.

It's been a lot of fun, and surely a wild ride for all of us, and here we are. It is still early to call, and some of the veterans are even concerned about snipers stealing their thunder, but I want to thank and congratulate all who have participated in the competition.

And although all ranks are equally important to Santa's eyes, I especially want to recognize the efforts of the Master and Grand Master Elves for their magnificent and fantastic performance. So here they are, with special recognition and honour, the members of The High Elf Council:

Not only have they reached the highest ranks and explored the limits of the game, but they have shared strategies and war stories, and contributed to maintaining a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and fun.

Thank you Master Elves, and thank you all Santa's Helpers for joining in our little pageant. May the New Year bring forth happiness, joy, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.

The championship ends tonight at Midnight, Central Standard Time. There is still time to get your scores in (and snipe, if that's your thing!), so get to playing and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!
