+therealbountybob Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 After tough battles with McKong, Deteacher, Dodgers, Darthkur, Atariksi and other Atari Gaming greats, by 4pts only, we have a NEW 8-BIT ATARI HSC World Champion and his name is Scalak :thumbsup: Our first winner from Poland, winning an impressive 8 games this season (and I made him play Gorilla Warfare!). I took runner up spot and McKong took 3rd spot and makes it into the hall of fame for the 2nd season running. In the final round Sikor held off orpheuswaking to take 6th place. We had 10 different winners of games this season I've created some certificates (desktop backgrounds) inidividual ones for the top 10 players (attached below) We had a good mix of old and new games; I enjoyed a few games that I hadn't played before: Guard, Fatum, Trix, Mario Bros XE, Santa's Boulderdash Party; and a few that I had forgotten but were excellent, including BMX Simulator, Crystal Castles and TGACCRR. We still need to figure out Pondering About Max's and Lawkeeper and one day get that presidential Castle in Gumball but otherwise the games were pretty much conquered If Scalak and JK40001 could post something about the new HSC season on their national atari web sites that would be great - I will ask Fandal to give us a mention and Yautja has kindly offered to promoted us on his atari blog Thanks for playing everyone (even if you only popped in for the odd round).
