kheffington
Other than some bid crazy low feedback bidders is there any reason that this has made it up to $150 with 2 days left on the auction? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3007014520
smile_walle
Well, this is too much money at this auction. Two strong reasons: There is no orginal box for Atari system! All of these cartridges are not really rare, also there is no boxes for cartridges! At this auction what I saw, the price should be less than $100.00 That two cents worth! t.skid
Jason, I think you're right. And, looking at the bid history, you could see that highest are from low feedback bidders...
Foxy Cleopatra
Jason, I think you're right. And, looking at the bid history, you could see that highest are from low feedback bidders... Morons sums them up quite nicely I think when eBay newbies see paragraphs like this: Even though there are Atari's on eBay, they are getting very scarce! It is time to buy one with good assortment of games while you still can. Remember, a lot of systems are in landfields. These 2600 systems are getting more and more scarce, and more and more valuable!! These systems and games were even on the hit TV show, "Antique Road Show". They are now considered antiques and getting more valuable by the minute...literally!! NEWSFLASH!! All Atari Games are NOW getting more rare! Prices on Atari's and games are going up drastically! people are buying them up quickly on eBay and NOW are getting very scarce! Buy now while the prices are somewhat reasonable for the vintage machines and games!!! they start getting nervous. Fun to watch!
Brad2600
None of those games are really rare. I don't like his use of the word "Atari Collector nuts" or whatever. I'm not crazy. I sold my 2600 for only $15 and still haven't gotten payment but that's still kinda low. How can they be scarce then?
