Sed.exe?

I reinstalled Visual Batari Basic, and I can't compile, it asks for sed.exe. Where can I get it? I downloaded VBB and DASM from atariage forums.

It comes with bB. See the readme that comes with bB.

I followed the instructions on randomterrains site, and it said it was available under "optional" but it's not there. Hm, and the sed.exe did not come with BB. Nor a readme file. =/

If this is the same sed in the Unix world, you can find the windows (.exe) version here: http://gnuwin32.sour...ackages/sed.htm

 

But I don't know what version of sed you need, maybe you can just try and check this sed.exe and use RT instructions.

I hope nothing breaks...

 

P.S.: I don't do atari hacking, not atari programming, not even basic, not assembly...

I don't know how to make it any clearer:

 

"Until the main site is updated, the bBWin7_64bit.zip file in the Visual bB main post under Optional is the most current collection of normal (pre-DCP+) bB files available."

 

bBWin7_64bit.zip is under Optional in the VbB thread. It looks like this:

Then the bB page says:

 

"If you're not using bBWin7_64bit.zip, you may need to copy or move sed.exe from the sed folder to the main bB folder . . ."

 

If you download bBWin7_64bit.zip and unzip it, you'll have a bB folder that contains these files:
