+DZ-Jay
Oh cool, I've been wanting to have an excuse to play this game. I received it in a previous lot that I bought, but I haven't touched it yet. I hope it's as cool as it sounds, for I really like the arcade version. My guess is that the 16-direction disc will be better mapped to the free-moving trackball than the four-way joystick of the Atari. I'll play tomorrow morning. Yay! Oscar G.
I am in the same situation as DZ. I did not have centipede on the INTV at the time but I really liked it in the arcades. Actually, I played it a lot on the Atari 2600 before I turned to the Dark Side and got my INTV. If I remember well on the Atari 2600, Centipede was one of those games that contributed to the destruction of your joystick. I am looking forward to discovering the game with the INTV controller. Should be very cool. Good luck to all!

WispFollower
Why is the spider so suicidal? First, he eats mushrooms whether or not they are poison. Next, he slams into you, even though this causes an explosion and death for both parties.

MMM... perhaps the suicidal tendencies derive from too much mushroom intake...

It does it for love of god and country, and garden plants.
Oscar G.
Yep, I know it first hand. The kamikaze/suicidal spider steals the show (and your lives) after 40K Here is my latest score submission. Cheers. 45,371 points

LidLikesIntellivision
I'm having problems with an Intellivision rom again! I've downloaded a .bin and a .int file, but the rom doesn't work property... I used the Dig Dug and the Pacman cfg files and nothing. The Christmas Carol cfg breaks the emulator... This is what I get: Any help is appreciated. I must find a way to play the game or I'm in risk of being knocked out . There isn't a centipede cart available in local market and no time to import one...

I must find a way to play the game or I'm in risk of being knocked out . There isn't a centipede cart available in local market and no time to import one... MMM... It seems that the emulator does not work with Atari-developed games. I am sorry to know that you are having problems with the emulator. I had problems as well with the emulator and the Carol game. It seems that emulators are not very reliable. I have one idea, I will pm it to you. Cheers. O
LidLikesIntellivision
I got the right cfg file and now I'm in. Anyone looking for a cfg should visit this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/203179-config-files-to-use-with-various-intellivision-titles/#entry2605274 Intvnut made a zip file containing some cfg file models. You need to rename one of them to math the name of the rom used! If you don't know which cfg to use, try each one.
LidLikesIntellivision
I like centipede! I'm playing the 7800 version since I got it recently. 1) 44,212 (I think it's a good first game score!) (02/11) 2) 57,835 (02/12)

Cheers, O Thanks for the help, Oscar. I've been skipping some round in the last HSC for this same issue. Now I think I can map almost all roms with a .cfg file. And I'm slowly getting more carts for Intellivision, someday I may have all of them . Now I have only around 40 cartridges.
