boxpressed
I was wondering what items came with a fully complete-in-box Intellivision. Two questions, specifically, that have to do with the early model Intellivision (the kind with the Keyboard Component still on the box and with the LVB&P sticker): 1. What did the styrofoam look like? 2. Was the console shrinkwrapped or just placed in a plastic bag? Here's an auction for just a box, styrofoam, and plastic bags. Its going price surprises me a little. But does everything look stock? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 281063492789
voltron
I dont know if the console came shrinkwrapped, that a question for cmart. But it looks like a lot for just a box. I know it is the earlier one with the keyboard component on it. But when I got that box it came with the console styrofoam and several cartridges and I paid about $60. I have seen "sealed" cosoles on ebay but the box was not shrinkwrapped it just had a sticker as a seal. Atari_Bill
Looks like a newbie constantly pushing the price up to me. This is high for a just a box auction.
+JasonlikesINTV
Agreed, you could probably find a CIB console for $40-80 if you're patient. "Sealed" ones run $200-400.

Utopia
My original boxed Inty looks just like the auction photo. The bag is a open ended sleeve that folds at the ends into the foam.
y-bot
I found 2 sealed early version consoles in the late 90's. I still have one of them and I traded the other to a friend. His got water damaged so he sold it. It turned up again later on ebay and the box had been thrown away but the console was shrink wrapped somehow. I haven't seen another like that.
