GadgetUK
Hi, A bit pedantic I know, but hey I tend to want perfection when I am restoring these beloved machines eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400235939831 These are a perfect replacement for the black STe feet (probably STFM as well - i've not measured those). Don't know why but 3 of my STe feet had MELTED in situ ?!?!? Either time or some cleaning agent used in the past? Be interested to know if anyone else has melted feet? Mine now looks good as new, absolutely perfect fit and looks identical to proper originals.
Sub(Function(:))
Not on an ST, but I had that problem with an XEGS, and an 850.
GadgetUK
Did they look melted? Whats strange is 1 of mine looked good as new, and the other 3 were just melted blobs... Very odd, never seen that before.

tjlazer
Yes, I have seen the melted/gummy phenomena of the rubber feet. Weird!
Sub(Function(:))
Did they look melted? Whats strange is 1 of mine looked good as new, and the other 3 were just melted blobs... Very odd, never seen that before. they were all squashed and misshaped where the weight of the unit had pressed them, but not totally flat. also they had gone very hard and had little not now elasticity.
