cabel
Hey Guys, I found my old TI-994/A tapes from when I was 6 or 7 years old, and I'm dying to load some of these basic programs. I've made WAV files of the tapes. I can run them through tape994a, and they seem to convert just fine ("Ok, recovered" anyway). So I have a handful of FIAD files, and I'm... stuck. What emulator works best with these FIAD files? It's not just as simple as opening an FIAD file and RUNing them, right? What's my best possible next step for loading these ancient works into an actual emulator, and which one? Thanks for any help you can provide, Cabel Edited April 7, 2013 by cabel
+Ksarul
Mount the FIAD disk under MESS and load the program from the BASIC prompt using OLD DSK(N).(FILENAME) MESS is good, as is V9T9 (there's a new JAVA based version of this one), and several others. Look on the TI programming portion of the forum and you'll find lots of advice. http://atariage.com/forums/forum/119-ti-994a-programming/
