Question, something I've been thinking about that we would need to run by Albert. It would be cool if, in the future, we awarded special forum icons to winners. So, perhaps, the top 10 players in each HSC get a special icon that goes somewhere under their avatar, impossible to duplicate without changing the forum code or something. They do this over at Nintendoage and it's cool, like a little badge you can carry around the forum, and it might actually get more interest in the group in future competitions.

Sorry didn't have a chance for final scores, teach, this is the worst point of the semester, most of my grading occurs these last three weeks. Pure murder. So much to read and correct.

So the gold medal finals pitted teacher against teacher?!

What do you guys teach?

I'm an elementary school teacher.

It's the perfect time to get some lessons 'cause I'm always confused about this...

Here (Brazil) we have basicly:

1) a "fundamental school" - nine years taking from 6 years old to 14. Is it the "elementary school"?

2) a "medium school" - three years from 15 to 17 years old (it can be a normal course or a technic course. I think it's the "High school"...

3) and the university which varies from course to course.

I went in a technic course in "medium school", electrotechnology.

And then I studied Law!

In the U.S. school is typically divided along these or similar lines:

1. Pre-school: ages 3-4

2. Elementary: ages 5-11

3. Middle school (AKA "Junior High"): ages 12-13

4. High School (4 years): ages 14-17

5. Post-secondary: college or university or technical school, etc.

I'm an elementary school teacher.

I used to work in the public school system as an occupational therapist, grades pre-k thru 8th gr. I have the utmost respect for grade school teachers and the work they accomplish under high-stress, adverse conditions. I salute you, 'Teach!

fun times, y'all! Congrats, medal winners!

I can't wait till the new season starts up, I have a feeling HSC is on an improvement streak. I like it when the highest scores I can find a record of are the ones I find at AA HSC. That's why I kept watching y'all and finally jumped in, it's the real deal.

I want to second Stan's suggestion about the "badge" icons (plus medals too), I think that's a great idea which would add more fun and addictiveness and attractiveness to the HSC.

thanks again for having me along !!!

Albert likes the idea and is looking into it! What would you guys think? Just "medals" (icons) for the top 3, 5, 10 of each HSC?

Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS to Deteacher, Northcoastgamer and Zoyx for winning your Medals. Your battle was spectacular.

And thanks to Vocelli for the exciting 2600 HSC contests. The next season will be more exciting and very competitive.

While the NEW 2600 HSC Season 2 doesn't start, I would like to invite all the 2600 HSC gamers to watch entirely my 2600 & 7800 gameplay videos which I made and posted through Youtube, specially Dark Chambers, Ms. Pac-Man, Pole Position, Ikari Warriors and Millipede. WATCH AND RELAX!
