+wood_jl
I don't think there's ANYBODY in the United States that works on ST. I suppose it just wasn't popular enough over here (as it was in Europe) to warrant a residual (retro) fanbase large enough to have technical people in it. If/when mine breaks, I kind of plan on calling it parts. I bought spares. I feel the same way about most of my retrocomputers. I don't know where one would get an Amiga repaired, either. Heck, the Atari8 machines don't have anybody left that I can really think of, for general repair, and they were more popular here. Europe has all the Atari repair/modding talent, or it appears that way. If it didn't cost more to send stuff over there than it's worth, it would be an option.
