What are common keypad buttons to use on Intv2?

 

Here is Colecovision example:

 

1 - to start 1 player game on easy

* - to pause game

 

I have two buttons to use. They are labeled select and start.

For Coleco I mapped select to 1 and start to *.

 

Would they be clear and enter, With Clear = Select and Enter = Start ?

As far as I know, games with a menu do not use a "select" function, but just pressing a number key. For example, it's very common for games to engage "easy," "medium," "hard," and "fast/normal" when pressing #1, #2, #3, or the Disc, respectively.

 

When they require input (like multi-digit numbers), they use "Enter" to select and "Clear" to clear the input.
