Anyone know if Groovybee is okay?

Perry and I have been trying to contact Mark (groovybee) for quite some time, he hasn't been on AA in quite a bit and it not answering emails. We are really concerned maybe he had a family situation or perhaps something happened to Mark and we are really getting worried about him (hey, I should know about emergencies and such...)

Anyone in the UK know Mark and have any contact with him? Just want to make sure he's okay and if there is anything we can do for him.

He's actually been developing and releasing a few games for the Intellivision platform as well as taken an interest in modding the hardware too.

Maybe he's lost (some) interest in the 7800. Would be nice to know for sure, just odd he hasn't respond to your or Perry's emails, Curt. Maybe his mailbox is full or he's too busy :?:

That's guy's inbox is constantly stuffed with Inty fans' pre-orders, questions and demands for boxes ;-)

I know he's working hard to get his Rocketeer game out and is also working on another 2 or 3 games when the mood takes him... that's just the way some of these mad geniuses work... sticking too long with one thing and forcing it feels too much like work and not fun for some people. Understandable.

Talked to him via PM less than a week ago, and with his activity in the Intellivision section I'd say he's probably fine, just busy with the amount of projects he's involved in, plus whatever personal life throws at him.

He has definitely not lost interest in the 7800 though, we talked about just that in the last PM. I imagine his latest games are more focused on the Intellivision because his new 7800 projects are XM-only games, so nobody could play them right now anyway. :)

So long as he's okay... We all get busy, I'm just itching to wrap up the XM and the BIOS and scroll assist are all him and the Yamaha audio circuit has never worked up to as high a quality as we wanted... Okay well I've better getting a bit back into CPLD mode again so I've got that to work on...

Hopefully Mark will get the itch to jump back over to 7800 stuff again and we can wrap up these loose ends
