DaytonaUSA
Looking for a convertor to play MVS games on an AES. Not really sure who sells them. Even if you don't have one for sale, if you know where to look I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!
goldenegg
There's only one converter that has full compatibility and no graphical glitches. http://www.neostore.com/Daedalus-MVS-to-AES-Neo-Geo-Converter-p/20.htm I wouldn't buy one for a couple reasons: 1 - The guy behind these is a known scammer. Regardless of how well these work, I wouldn't want to give him a penny. 2 - You can buy a consolized MVS for the same price, which is much more useful. None of the other converters are worth your time. They have compatibility problems with certain games and show graphical glitches when graphic scaling is used. Not this one: http://tinyurl.com/pslcvxb I don't own it myself, but some of the guys on the Neo-Geo.com forums say that it doesn't have any scaling problems. It has some issues with bootlegs and multicarts but all the original SNK carts should work. Edited May 30, 2013 by ApolloBoy
DaytonaUSA
I already have a consoled MVS. Was thinking of getting an AES for the other room with the capability of playing MVS carts if I want. Maybe it's just a better idea to get an Omega. Thanks guys. It's a little better than their previous model with the adjustable pot (which I also own), but still not perfect.
DaytonaUSA
Good to know. I think for the price (and the ethical reasons) I'll just go the Omega route if I can. Now we'll just see if I can find one used....
