Gregory DG
I think the guy who won got a good deal, but I'm mad as a hornet for missing out on that Obelix rated at a 10! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8&category=1250
MegaManFan
That looks like a damn nice lot. Even from a top label only view that Tapper looks beautiful, and as many NTSC games as are paired together you'd have to suspect the Obelix is one too. Wow. CPUWIZ
I don't think that Tapper is for the 2600.

The one pictured in the auction didn't look like it had the "P" on it for PAL. Damn, I should have bid $156.57!
Gregory DG
I don't think that Tapper is for the 2600. Looks like this one to me: http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?Sof...wareLabelID=
Gregory DG
Here's that 10 I lost being sold now... (*I* would have kept it, not turn it around to make a profit!) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=21177
Gregory DG
The good news is there is another (better) auction for the same game going on right now. This one has instructions. Guess we see more of these than my sniper thought, huh? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4&category=3528
+Atari_Warlord
If you look at the manual in the picture it appears to have multiple languages, which would suggest it is PAL.
Mock
Guy says he played it in a regular Atari?
Gregory DG
Plus I don't see the "p" in the picture and the guy also says it doesn't have it. So, I'd guess it was the NTSC version.
mistah kurtz
As suggested in the other auction, the NTSC version was primarily distributed in Quebec, Canada, where bilingual packaging is legally required.
CincYnoTi
obelix is one you have to be really careful with, especially if the seller says "don't know if it's pal or ntsc". that usually means it is PAL. no P on the end label isn't enough, sometimes PAL games have a square P sticker on the back of the cart...very easy to remove. multi-lingual instructions mean nothing. these were distributed in canada with NTSC games and in Europe with PAL games.
