Question about Ebay Auctions???

How long does it take after you list an item on Ebay before it

actually comes up in the search listing?

 

I listed an auction and recieved the confermation regarding the auction listed and the URL, but when I logg off Ebay and do a search for the item

it does not show up????

 

I dont usually sell stuff on Ebay so anyone else know about this?

takes 2-6 hours for it be be seasrchable

Yes, I my experience it takes 2-4 hours before the auction is entered in the search database, you can however view the auction by item number.

Do you guys know the HTML code for Hyperlinking URL's into Ebay Auctions?

 

I am just begining to read a little about HTML and I want to post either links or other pictures into my Ebay Auctions.

 

That would be much better than paying Ebay 15 cents each additional picture.

 

I am a little familiar with UBB Code but I think HTML is slightly different.

If you can host your own images, you are better off! Don't use a free service like Tripod or Angelfire, they won't allow hyperlinking.

 

Try this code for a centered image:

 

<center><IMG align=center hspace=5 src='http://yourownurl.com/yourimage.jpg'></center>

 

Naturally substitute your domain and image name for the italics.
