DNA64
Hello everyone, I was going to post this sooner so my appoliges for the late notice, but I had some issues accessing the site I've only just been able to resolve. Anyways, I've posted up on ebay what could very well be the nicest sealed box copy "The Music Machine" for the Atari 2600 we'll ever see. The Auction ends in roughly 24 Hours if you want to join in on the bidding. I do offer FREE World Wide Shipping! I've got both Photos and Video up of the game, as well as a link to my site with plenty of info about the game. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 271226633317 Good Luck to anyone that bids and thanks for looking! CPUWIZ
for listing it at $0.99! for listing it private, instant shill suspicion.
bojay1997
for listing it at $0.99! for listing it private, instant shill suspicion. Yep. I would never bid on a private listing. Way too much room for fraud.

Andre81
There is no reason for a private listing other than shill bidding.
DNA64
I chose to list the auction with privacy on to protect the buyer's identity so they didn't get spamed from people asking questions etc. I can assure you, the're was no "shill bidding" or anything of the sort (Just look at the final sale price). I would have let it sell for $2000 if that's what the bidding went to. It's not about the money. And I'm shocked people would think this. You're welcome to own opionions however and it's your loss if you didn't bid. For those of you that did, thank you. To the winning bidder Congrats! Also my appoligies for not shipping to Australia, I didn't catch that and would have shipped it to you if you messaged me. I did check it, but ebay must have unchecked it, it actually blocked the US, but I fixed that one. And no, I don't ship to North Korea, so I don't know why it's not in the list, my guess is it's a given. EDIT: If you look, you'll see I list all my auctions as Private as I belive in a buyers right to privacy. bennybingo
EDIT: If you look, you'll see I list all my auctions as Private as I belive in a buyers right to privacy. Even when the auctions are not set as private, the buyer's information is not viewable. It just shows scrambled letters and numbers...not the actual screen name. This does however allow other sellers to see that the bids are from different people, as each of these scrambled screen names are unique. IMHO, the only reason to utilize the private listing option is to produce shill bids. I'm not even sure why eBay has that option available at all. +stupus
man...seeing this sealed copy reminds me of when I went and saw the live stage production of music machine as a wee lad. And after the show seeing the sales table in the lobby layed out with a bunch of these and a bunch of the music albums. We bought the album but of course mommy didnt buy me the game Now if I only had a TIME machine and could go back and clear that table the F out

I now realize I made a beginers mistake, my appologies everyone. Even the winnning bidder (Who's wish to remain annoymous will be granted) said people are wary of private auctions which is why it sold for what it did. However he did ask to remain annonymous for the exact reasons I chose to list the auction as private, but of course not knowing what benny has stated.

I'd say it cost you quite a bit of cash...I tend to stay away from auctions with private bidders. These types of auctions send up red flags to me. I almost got burned by a seller outside the US who used private bidders awhile back. It took suspicion, action, persistence, time and ultimately a police report to recover my money.
