IntellivisionDude
Got my Gold For the Gold Box today. Thanks Now what kind of glue should i use on the box? Maybe one day when i'm more daring i'll glue it together. Would stick glue work? It works for cartridge labels but not sure if it's strong enough for a box. +JasonlikesINTV
I'm a big fan of scotch double-sided tape. Use one strip on one flap and another on the second flap, the carefully press together. Just my opinion. Less messy than glue. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Z47L/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&tag=atariage&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00004Z47L&linkCode=as2
mojotv67
I got the Go For The Gold box today and it looks so nice folded that I was debating whether to assemble it or not... am I in the minority thinking this way?
+JasonlikesINTV
I personally think it will hold value better if left unassembled, but you can enjoy it more if you display it (assembled) in a box protector with your other games Another option would be to leave it flattened and frame it behind UV protected bulletproof glass like they use for important historical documents Edited July 26, 2013 by JasonlikesINTV
Rev
I bet you guys would assemble it if you had the cart.
Certifiable
They look the same as Oliver's repro boxes, right down to the OPUS repro tag. Why wouldn't they be ready to assemble right out of the box like the others? There should already be double sticky sided tape on one spine and the cart retainer... mojotv67
What, ago for the gold patch? Yep.... although according to Intellivisiongames.com, "tens of thousands" of patches were made before Mattel closed and about 100 were kept by Mattel employees. The rest are purported to be in a landfill. Anybody know where this landfill is?
+JasonlikesINTV
More importantly, where are the hundred employee ones?

Oscar G. Bill Loguidice
Is the manual for Games Factory complete with instructions for usage, or is just the blurb from the Intellivision Lives site? I'm thinking I'd like all three boxes and manuals, though I'd much prefer a "real" manual, if that makes sense.
bikeguychicago
The manual is from one of the Intellviision CDs (Lives or Rocks - I'm not sure which) and is the full manual. It details creation of the game, editing, designing, and saving projects. Unfortunately, the only way to actually use the game/program is to run it off of said CD as no cart version is currently available.
Bill Loguidice
Thanks for the info, bikeguychicago. I have the Intellicart, so I can run the Intellivision CD image from there. Sending an email to Alex now...
