Retro Rogue
I'm the webmaster for atarihq.com, and Albert just IM'd me to notify me about the problem. I've sent emails to the DNS entry people at our provider to fix the problem. I tried getting in contact with tech support over the phone, but gave up after being on hold for a half hour. If it's still not fixed by tomorrow, I'll call again in the afternoon. FTP access works fine, and everything is where it should be on the server. No, we have not lost ownership of the name. So, until they fix the DNS entry, the dog kennel can wonder why their page is getting so many hits.
justclaws
Hello, Just to add my observations... I can see that all the data is still there on the server, but somehow the server definitions on the web-server have gone. I would guess based on previous instances that the hosting company which seems to me pretty stupid has accidentally wiped it out again. Who knows? On previous occasions they've made it read only, changed the definition, restored an old version of the data over the top of it, screwed up PHP, and let the disk space fill-up completely, all at different times. That's why JI2 got it's unreliable tag in the past... Cheers, JustClaws.
