Rev
Pretty cool. Maybe Intvnut or Willy can show us more? http://intellivisionrevolution.com/entries/intellivision-miscellaneous/in-shell-programmer-by-left-turn-only-for-intellivision

Games For Your Intellivision
The device allows you to reprogram an LTO JLP3 circuit board without taking it out of the shell. So, you can have all the boards in the shell already, and put whatever game you want on it.....if you make too many of one game, you can just plug the cart in, and change the program. mjarnold7
So it programs from one cart to another?
Rev
Do all the shells have a small hole for the wire connector?
+intvsteve
I think you just plug the cart you want to reprogram into the 'target' slot. Source could be the 'master' or perhaps something else. That thin cable is just power.

+grips03
I like how Joe changed ISP to in-shell programming
+JasonlikesINTV
...or if you make a bunch of games and later discover a glitch, you could overwrite the bad carts with the updated ROM. Now you just need the "CD duplicator" version with 10 slots so you can program/reprogram 10 at a time

Intymike
Touché, brother. That doesn't help if the carts are already delivered.

+intvsteve
I guess if you're getting into the business of producing carts... I.e. it would be neat and look cool and all, but would you really want to replace your Match 5 ROM with Hard Hat?
