RangerG
Does the Harmony 2600 Flash Cart work on the Intellivision System Changer? Are there any issues with this set-up? Thanks for the replies!
+intvsteve
My hunch would be that it works fine. The system changer is really just an Atari 2600 that gets its power from the main Intellivision console and sends the video out through another pin on the cartridge port. This hunch is based on the Intellivision Lives site's description of the System Changer.
RangerG
It does seem like it should, but I wish someone could test it. These things have their quirks :-).

RangerG
Come on Cmart, be a hero! Do you really have a Harmony and a System Changer? Before I go buying a changer, I'd like to see if it works with the Harmony.
voltron
It should work on the system changer. So far everything atari I tried on it has worked. I dont have a harmony cart but I do have an atari videoplexer and it worked fine.
+DZ-Jay
My hunch would be that it works fine. The system changer is really just an Atari 2600 that gets its power from the main Intellivision console and sends the video out through another pin on the cartridge port. This hunch is based on the Intellivision Lives site's description of the System Changer. More than a hunch, it's a fact. Contrary to the Intellivision, the Atari had no "BIOS" or any other ROM to run the games. The entire program was on the cartridge, and it interacted directly with the CPU and sound and video chips. And these were off-the-shelf parts! The System Changer is the exact hardware of the VCS; therefore, anything made for the VCS should work the same when plugged into it. Now, can someone sell me a System Changer? dZ.
