WTB 2732 and Linux Compatible EPROM Programmer

That's similar to the one I have, the difference being mine is the original Batupo. It's a great programmer and I haven't had any issues with it. No external power supply and not difficult to learn how to use. I don't run Linux though, so can't comment on that part. My only regret is that I didn't spend the extra cash for the Barlino, which can do a lot more chips than the Batupo. Namely smaller package parts like serial EEPROMs.

That one is also way out of budget :)

 

I don't care if it's just a cheap chinese one..

 

I'm only going to use it for 2600 Carts really. If I get serious about programming EPROMS, then I'll buy a better one in the future, but right now I'm looking cheap
