Asmusr
This is the inside of a switchable Editor Assembler and Disk Manager II cart that I'm thinking of buying. Can anyone see from the picture whether it can do more than that, e.g. does it have any RAM? One of the 74LS161AN chips is in a socket and is accessible from the outside. Thanks, Rasmus Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/216905-switchable-ea-dm-ii-cart/ Share on other sites
+OLD CS1
Interesting... the extra socket looks hopeful. Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/216905-switchable-ea-dm-ii-cart/#findComment-2833543 Share on other sites
jens-eike
Hej Rasmus, the PCB is from German TI-Revue. Two EPROMs seem to be stacked in the GROM area, ther is provision for cartridge ROM at the empty 28-pin solder pad area, this can be modified to accept an 8K RAM chip. Back in the days I modified this PCB to a battery backed GRAM device with bank switching to run Extended Basic (my home made GRAM Kracker). RXB
I have pics (Snail Mailed me) of people that built different versions of GRAM devices for Cart port.
