+atari2600land
Just placed an order for Tempo for the 32x. I heard it's a platform game, and I'm looking for one other than Knuckles Chaotix for the 32x. I want to know, how good is it? Is it any good? Chuck D. Head
I really like it. Good music and sound effects, interesting and varied visuals, good controls. It is straightforward platforming done well.
Lentzquest
Tempo and Knuckles are definitely the two to go for. The colors and art design alone are worth checking out, but Tempo has pretty solid gameplay as well. Pitfall, Blackthorne, and Spiderman are more acquired tastes. Austin
I like it a lot. It does play pretty slow though.
+atari2600land
I already have Knuckles Chaotix, but I was looking for a new-to-me game for the 32x. I heard Spider-man is really expensive.

Yep, it's expensive and also not very good. Lately Spiderman, Pitfall, and Blackthorne all tend to cost a fortune. Tempo and Knuckles Chaotix are the best platformers for the system and the least expensive.
LynxVGL
I don't understand the spiral on Pitfall prices. I've been debating picking it up, but might go for a Sega CD version instead of the 32X version. I "Would" like it for 32X though...

It is better on the Sega CD, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper to boot. The color pallette is unfortunately about the same as the Genesis version, but it does have a new CD soundtrack (which is excellent!) and it runs at a much higher framerate than the 32X one.
+atari2600land
I just got the game today. It's one of those games where I can't beat the first level because they made it too hard. I liken it to Mega Man-hardness. Apparently nobody did any playtesting to see if the first level was beatable.

Rhomaios
If you like Tempo, there were sequels on the Game Gear and Saturn.

Austin
Dude.. you think every game is too hard. How exactly is this one giving you a problem? Tempo is one of the easier platformers out there (no thanks to its slow pacing). Let us know and maybe we can help you.
