This is the first report we've heard of a crash in the final version. There is nothing significant about the number 3500 - we've gotten higher scores than that - but it probably indicates that you were playing for a while... Pause is implemented in the game (by pressing 1 and 9 together), so you should always try that if the screen goes completely blank (sorry it this sounds like "stating the obvious", but sometimes people accidentally hit pause while playing...)
