+swlovinist
I had two 2600 systems that were modded a couple of years ago. One of the systems now has a black screen. I can hear sound, but no video. The system has been modded to s-video. I have tried it on a couple of TV sets, using different cables and power cords as well. The system is a 4 switch. I dont know know if modding a system is extra hard on the system, or if the TIA chip is bad. Who does repairs here. This system is used in a local club to showcase Atari to the community, as well as at the Charity Event Cowitz Gamers for Kids. Any help is most appreciated. ApolloBoy
Have you opened it up yet? Sounds like maybe there's a loose wire or two.
mkiker2089
Dude, don't tell him that. Tell him it's fried but you can fix it for 95 dollars, then send me a finders fee. Just kidding of course. (Maybe) edit-- OP, does your system have composite out also or just s-video? I was told sometimes the connections themselves can come loose over time.
