ThumpNugget
Greetings good people.. I recently received an email from wood_jl asking me if I had finished scanning ST-Log. I was a bit surprised it had not already been done.. Based on a post forma couple of years ago he had slowly collected the magazines I did not have and recently mailed them to me.. With a complete set it would shame not get this series scanned The first nine issues of this magazine actually were part of ANALOG magazine and a few were missing from my original scans so I pilfered them from a guy who had been working on his own ANALOG scans to make sure I had a complete set. I've reprocessed them here and done a fresh set of bookmarks to get them as close to the other scans. So! Godaddy says it is an unlimited account, guess we will see It may be a but difficult to get everything in the first few days.. I would encourage anyone who puts these up for free download to post a link in this thread... and if you are reading this in the future and the links don't work see if someone has posted a link. http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 01 1986-04 Mr Scratch.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 02 1986-05 ST Sound Waves.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 03 1986-06 VDI Sampler.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 04 1986-07 Function Keys.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 05 1986-08 Solid States for the ST.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 06 1986-09 GEMs Desktop.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 07 1986-10 Windows Tutorial.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 08 1986-11 C Compiler Reviews.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 09 1986-12 Degas Tutorial.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 10 1987-01 Xanths New 3D Demo.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 11 1987-02 Atari at COMDEX.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/scans/STLog/ST-LOG 12 1987-03 Entertainment Issue.pdf Edited October 18, 2013 by ThumpNugget

+wood_jl
Wow! I found a few issues, but that pales in comparison to what Thumpnugget does for THIS magazine, or vintage computer magazines, in general. Thank You, thumpnugget! You are a savior of the retrocomputing world!!!

Goochman
Just got done thumbing through all the issues - crazy to look back and see how many awesome things came out for the ST. There were a ton of games and productivity apps, alas seems Atari never really focused on v2 of the ST and got caught up in too many other side projects....
