Asmusr
Is it possible to disable the 32k in MESS or Classic99 to test how a cartridge would work? I have only found ways to do this in v9t9 and Win994a. Thanks, Rasmus. +mizapf
Sure, go into the TAB menu of MESS, "System configuration". Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/217919-disabling-32k-emulation/#findComment-2852696 Share on other sites
Tursi
Not configurable in Classic99 - Classic99 starts up as a system with 56k of RAM and then ROM is overlaid on top of it -- whatever ROMs you load replaces the RAM. That said, you can easily fake it by loading a bunch of empty (or even dummy) files overtop of the memory expansion. So, load 8k at >2000 and 24k at >A000 and there will be no 32k RAM card available. (You'd have to create a dummy cartridge in the INI and load it along with whatever cart you really want). Asmusr
Sure, go into the TAB menu of MESS, "System configuration". Thanks, I actually didn't know about the Tab menu (and that you had to press ScrollLock first), I'm usually using the QMC2 front end. +mizapf
Things will become better once the web service is ready. Then we can get rid of that ugly, uncomfortable attempt of a user interface.
