+DZ-Jay
AWESOME! Very good work! Your Intellivision tunes are sounding less "beepy" and more musical. Great use of the tracker. -dZ.
Games For Your Intellivision
Nurmix is getting the Elektronite tracker soon. We will see what he can come up with Intellivision sound related.
+JasonlikesINTV
Excellent news! Also, what is a tracker?
Der Luchs
Nurmix is getting the Elektronite tracker soon. We will see what he can come up with Intellivision sound related. Sounds like I should spend more then 10 min for a Song Maybe next week
+nurmix
Sounds like I should spend more then 10 min for a Song Maybe next week Haha! We'll see how I do with the tracker. The only trackers I ever used were back in the '90s on my Atari STE. I've always been more of a MIDI sequencer / synthesizer kind of guy. But it should be a fun experiment! Der Luchs
For sure, I really don't spend much time till now on the intv Tracker, so MAYBE I'll have some time next week, so we will see ^^

+nurmix
Cool stuff, Der Luchs! I'd like to include some of your stuff in future Intellivisionaries episodes if you don't mind. If you want to send me the ROM I'll load it into my Cuttle Cart and record it though my modded Intellivision. And that goes for anyone else here who is creating Intellivision music or Intellivision-themed music. I'm happy to include it in future episodes. The more the merrier! I included the Jack-In-The-Box piece from Christmas Carol in the tracker distribution I posted in the programming forum. It has source and a binary called "trkdemo2.rom". It's not a fancy composition, but I think I manage to make it sound like a music box. Perhaps it'll fit as a bumper in your podcast? -dZ. +DZ-Jay
Also, here's a ROM that Joe and I put together to test Christmas Carol sound effects. We also released some of them to the public domain as part of Joe's sound effects engine. sfx_demo.rom 1: Carol walk 2: Pick up present 3: Eat candy 4: Pick up snowflake 5: Bump with Ghost 6: Snowman's howl 7: Death sound 8: Whoosh! 9: Snowman walk normal Enter: Snowman walk fast Clear: Sound off Nurmix, feel free to use them for your music pieces and podcasts. -dZ. Der Luchs
Here's a sample of the Tune I'm working on at the moment. After the "Main Melody" I've started playing around with the Instruments, hope you like it and it's not too experimental ^^ But it's not the final Version http://www.luchs-soft.de/Der_Luchs/Song1.mp3
+DZ-Jay
I really like it, Der Luchs. It is a bit too experimental, as you say, but it has potential. I really can't wait to hear what you come up with when you get acquainted with the software.
Der Luchs
I really need to stay at the "Basic Instruments"... But I can't The prob is, it's not for a game ^^
+JasonlikesINTV
Is it for the soundtrack of an 8-bit Adult Film?
Der Luchs
It's just Music Because it's not for a Game, there are no rules It doesn't has to fit to something or needs to give the game an atmosphere and so on... That's the reason why I'm ending up in this experimental stuff Edited December 1, 2013 by Der Luchs
