maiki
I have noticed that when I page back (pressing left on d pad) the TV screen sometimes tends to bounce when the screen is being redrawn. Not on every page, only here and there. It never happens if I page forward (pressing right on d pad). I have a PAL 50 BIOS. It is not a big issue, just that I have noticed this behaviour. I have nearly 450 ROMs in the root directory.
Thomas Jentzsch
That's because the access to your SD card is slower backward than forward. When paging backward, the ROMs are loaded from the start. So the further towards the end you page back, the longer it takes.
maiki
There could be some kind of cache, where the display would only start redrawing when new data was ready. I mean next row for the menu. Not whole screen. Edited November 11, 2013 by maiki
Thomas Jentzsch
Actually you should see the rotating Ying-Yang symbol while loading new data. Do you?
