I'm currently working on the Sequel to Elansar, an adventure game called Philia.

Elina's husband is now in danger !
Will you help her to rescue him through Elina's subconscious mysteries ?

The game is almost finished for Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as Desktop computer (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX)

The game introduce a new 360° navigation system:

Also, the game time will be about twice longer than Elansar.

I'm thinking about porting the game to the Atari Falcon like Elansar.
Unfortunately, due to technical improvement of this version, it will induce technical problem on Falcon, for example, Elansar was in 640x480 256 colors, for Philia it will not be feasible, so the game will be downscaled to 320x240 but in 16bits colors.
Also, I'm not sure that 4Mbytes of RAM will be enough, and stock Falcon (030 @ 16mhz) will be rather slow for the game, for example video playback will be possible only on CT60 equipped Falcon.

That said, will you be still interested in buying the game for your Falcon ?
Would you prefer reduced cost downloadable version, or a full CD release ?
Note: The CD version will include Windows/Linux/MacOSX and Falcon port of the game !
If you are interested, Please tell me here, or by email: onorisoft (at) free.fr
If enough people are interested I will be more motivated to do the Port, also it will help me know which release method I should do (how much CD to produce or if I do Download only)

You can see here a video of the Making of Philia, as a preview of the game:

Thank you !

  • 4 weeks later...

I almost finished the Falcon port, here is a video of the game running on my Atari Falcon 030 @ 16mhz
and at 2:25 mark you can see the game running on CT60 @ 90mhz (but it's same speed @66mhz)
https://vimeo.com/81445559

I can say that, the game needs minimum 8MB of ram to be fully playable, you might make it work on 4MB of ram but you won't be able to hear the music then, only sfx.
It works on stock falcon @16mhz, but it's a bit slow, around 12fps on vga60hz, 15 fps on rgb50hz
I can't help it, I'm already using fast asm code, and even pre-generated code for transparent sprite.
That's why an accelerated card is highly recommended for smoother gameplay, on CT60 it's running at 30fps on vga60hz
