firestorm
I would like to share some cas files created with wav2cas from original tapes. First one will be Zeppelin by Synapse. zeppelin.zip
Kr0tki
firestorm, your CAS file contains some superfluous blocks with no meaningful data (ie. "fsk " blocks), resulting from some noise existing at the beginning and end of the tape recording. I have cleaned your file up, here it is: Zeppelin (1983)(Synapse Software)(US).cas.zip
firestorm
Thank you very much Kr0tki. I used Audacity and a8cas-converter to make it. I tested it on real Atari 800 XL and worked well. So now we have the only copy available from net as far as I know.
firestorm
Two more cas files, this time Silent Service and F-15 Strike Eagle from MicroProse Software UK for everybody interested. F15.zip Edited November 24, 2013 by firestorm
Kr0tki
F-15 was OK, but Silent Service had a superflous byte at the end. firestorm, you might consider removing attachments from your posts once a cleaned-up version is posted, to avoid spreading of "non-ideal dumps" (not to say "bad dumps" as I appreciate your work) on the internet. If not, then your best option is to get the desired game as .ATR or .XEX file. I would recommend getting these from a8.fandal.cz or www.atarionline.pl. The .cas files, although sometimes useful, are not exactly "mainstream", and might not be supported by the handheld console.

I owned it back in the day when the 810 cost more than a 800!! Ahh the good old days, and I loved the Synapse games that had the music tracks to listen to while the game was loading.
