Nintendo Penguin
I mean aside from CGE. A lot of websites (including my own) have links to AtariAge. But some banners ads or bumper stickers might really make more gamers aware. I would love an AtariAge bumper sticker!

Big Player
Why don't you get a sporty Atari Age T-shirt? I have two.
StanJr
boy yer getting all the mileage out of that picture that you can, aren't you? Oh, and the shirt Aimee is wearing does NOT count as yours! At the rate AA grows, I don't know that they really need to advertise that much! But every little bit helps!
Nintendo Penguin
I will get a t-shirt. I forgot they even had those! I am thinking of getting some 2004 vintagegamer.net calendars made up for CGE2k3... what do you guys think?
Albert
Advertising is an interesting idea, but I haven't given much thought as to where we might advertise without it costing a fortune. We don't want any banner ads on AtariAge, so banner exchanges with other sites are generally something we wouldn't consider. We are linked from a great number of sites on the web, which is probably how most people find out about us (or doing a search in Google for something Atari-related). Most classic gamers probably know about AtariAge at this point. It's the people who aren't in the hobby that you want to attract. For instance, when I was interviewed on NPR, a great number of people visited the site for the first time. So the best type of advertising is outside the normal classic gaming realm, but that will probably also be the most expensive. That's why free publicity like interviews and such is always nice. And yes, we do plan on adding more AtariAge-realted merchandise like bumper stickers and such, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I hope to get some items like that made after PC4. ..Al
StanJr
BUMPER STICKERS! BUMPER STICKERS! BUMPER STICKERS!
sku_u
Those shirts look nice. Did you originally get them through Cafepress? If so, mugs and bumper stickers would be easy to produce at cost. AtariAge has a big following now without traditional advertising. Does it really need to advertise?
Big Player
boy yer getting all the mileage out of that picture that you can, aren't you? And I've only started to get mileage out of my "Kissing the 5200" pic. Oh, and the shirt Aimee is wearing does NOT count as yours! Funny, I never noticed she was wearing an AA shirt. shep
I think some of us talented photoshop/graphic designers should go to http://cafepress.com and make some stuff for Atariage to support the site. Maybe even have a little competition....
