+Lathe26
I just came across this while bouncing around on the 'net. Was this ever real or was is catalog vaporware? The site I found it on says it was pictured in a Mattel 1983 catalog but unknown if it was ever released. http://www.intellivisionbrasil.com/Hardware_Joystick.htm
+BBWW
Never saw this one! Not even the photo.
Intellivisioner
Totally new to me. Thanks for sharing this pic.
bikeguychicago
It's referenced on the back of the Computer Module box but no picture of it is shown.
bikeguychicago
Needless to say that it looks even less ergonomic than the Intellivision II controllers themselves.
AtariLeaf
Needless to say that it looks even less ergonomic than the Intellivision II controllers themselves. Wow, didn't think that was possible
boxpressed
I think there was a similar photo of them in a video games magazine from the 80s. Maybe Videogaming Illustrated. It looks just horrible. Like a Spectravideo stick for the CV. Only thing worse than a pistol stick controller is one grafted onto a flat keypad.
bikeguychicago
And whose brilliant idea was it to make the button on top of the grip instead of it being a trigger?
mdoerty
Never saw one back in the day. And I remember seeing a videoplexer in the wild as well as a WicoStick (which I bought).
