I definitely have some tips I didn't see that until now... switch players with B, & I also hold the direction toward the player I want, don't know if this makes a difference. get ahead of the opponent players by switching to a player in front of them. then it is fairly easy to steal the ball by pressing A when you get close & it gets easier with practice. Staying in front of them will cause them to dodge around & not shoot as much too. when I was like 12 or so & used to immediately steal back the ball almost every time I made a goal, & I had a way of nailing 3-pointers almost every time.
