In case of a tie in the rankings the player with the most weeks played will be ranked higher. A game will randomly be picked from ALL the games played from Season 2. The List of Games are listed below. My son will draw from a hat one of the games used this past season. THIS IS TOTALLY RANDOM. The Games will be randomly selected on December 28. Play your game and POST A SCORE AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. Posting often make this competition very fun. Lose and you are out. Win and you move on. You MAY NOT use the score you posted during the regular rounds, NEW SCORES ONLY! If there is a TIE then both players move on in a 3 player match-up. If either player does not post a score then both are OUT. The FINALS will consist of three games and two weeks. We will reward our medals! Gold Medal Tier 1. Vs 8. Playing 4. Vs 5. Playing 2. Vs 7. Reason: Some, especially in the silver and bronze bracket, may miss the challenge because they didn't play regularly - and neither check the high score club forum all that often. Some may even be quite surprised that they are still in business - and may be motivated to return to the party. Should be less wild cards that way, and more competition. Also - noob question. Is Northcoastgamer the champion now? If yes, what's the medal brackets for? Are these two different competitions? Championship for Northcoast, and some extra medals for the best of the rest? Well, truly speaking, he's not the champion yet as he didn't post a score for Keystone Kapers. But I'm sure he will be the champion after rolling Gyruss. It's very unlikely to see another result. And yes, it's another competition. All 8 first places can win the gold medal, Northcoaster or any of the 7 ranked after him. Vocelli Posted December 22, 2013 Author Share Posted December 22, 2013 The Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies will be handed out at the end of Week 33 for The NEW HSC Season 2. The Medal Bracket Challenge is an added competition and was added for many reasons. ~ To make the Regular Season way more interesting, Players now have a reason to keep playing for points in regular season. Now players might set personal goals to play for the Gold Metal or finish Top 8. Or some players might have the goal to be Top 24 and play for a Medal. This make participation in regular season higher. ~ Allows Players who Joined late for Season 2 to actually win something. Several players joined late this year and now will be playing for a medal! This is to attract players as the season is in progress. ~ Creates a break from the regular season. Sometimes we all need a break. Creating season 3 will take some time. ~ Creates an exciting head-to-head tourney with a previously played random game. ~ Allows players to really dive into one game. You lose and you are out! So you better play that game VERY well. ~ lower ranked players are not crushed by top players. That's right any one in the top 24 has a chance to win a medal! The Medal Bracket Challenge lasts 5 weeks. The Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be handed out then... I also enjoyed Sub Scan very much.
