Two versions of ECS box?

! remember when I purchased my ECS originally, the box had black stickers on the back covering up details of the planned BASIC expansion module. However, the box for the ECS in this auction appears not to have those stickers at all. Was there a later printing of the ECS boxes that didn't include the details on the expansion module?

I have a hardware variations thread planned and have taken 60 or so pictures if I remember correctly (did this just before I packed up my collection in September), and I'm pretty sure I found three different back of box variations IIRC. Just charging my camera at the moment, maybe later tonight I'll load the pictures on and take a peek.

Any pictures of the planned BASIC expansion module?

I accidentally misspoke. I meant to ask if there were any pictures of text on the box that talks about the planned BASIC expansion module. My bad. Sounds like the answer will still be a 'no'.

For photos of the physical BASIC expansion module, there is one from the 1983 marketing catalog. However, like the Intellivoice 2 which appears in the same catalog, it could just be a wood mock-up and might not have ever have existed as real hardware.

Actually, the Program Expander is probably the item I was thinking about. Out of curiosity, do you have a link to catalog you got this image from? I'm kind of curious to see it. Nostalgia of what could have been ;)

Here's the link to the 1983 catalog from Papa Intellivision's site.
