+Gemintronic
I bought a Sony Pulse Elite headset so the family can have the TV volume at their comfort level while I pump the volume and bass up on the headset. Turns out Sony disables all other sound outputs when the headset is in use. Yes, I did try multi-out from the dashboard and it doesn't do squat. Some say that it reduces the output to bog standard stereo. Interestingly, I can't hear any appreciable difference when toggling the virtual surround sound button. Usually you hear SOMETHING different between untouched sound and virtual surround. What gives? Anyone have experience with these?
Keatah
I don't know the specifics of your exact model, but I don't find this all that surprising or unusual.
+Gemintronic
Pretty disappointing for a $150 dollar headset. No reason a Sony product designed for the PS3 should not output to more than one device simultaneously. I can't even adjust the balance.
