+grips03
I have several Intellivision consolesIntv2Searsmultiple 2609setc.Today I was using one of the 2609s and all original carts work ok. In truth I tried ~20.However these 3 carts do not work, I get a green screen with nothing else.D2KDK ArcadeMatch 5These carts do however work fine Intv2 and Sears and my 2nd 2609.Christmas Carol, Hover Bovver, Defender of the Crown also work fine on this "broken" 2609. Any ideas on how to fix?

+BBWW
Just send the broken Carts to me.
+grips03
yeah, its not the carts, but something with this certain 2609. I might open it up and swap ICs around until it works, but if someone knew what to try ahead of time that would be great.
+intvsteve
Maybe a bad contact or connection on the port itself? Kinda unlikely, but what if, when accessing the ROM, some line isn't properly connected, and results in bad data transfer? Same applies if there's a bad connection from the port to it's destination. I suppose it could be RAM, too, and some games use a certain address that's bad on the unit in question. If you have a test cart or multicart, run the MTE-201 test, which should diagnose bad RAM. HunterZero
First instinct is system RAM going bad. I had everything but Demon Attack and D2K working and it was RAM. - J

HunterZero
Haha! Yes it's a pain. Use a soldering iron and solder sucker. Be careful as the shield is connected to ground traces on the pcb.
