I found this out about the sio2ide with the compact Flash Chip Adapter. For a long time it was a hit or miss at to weather the CF would work or not. The CF Chips I have are formatted with Fat 32 with different sector sizes. I found that with my Windows 7 I can reformat CF chips that did not work in the past with Fat32 with 1024 sectoring and to my suprise the CF chips that did not work in the past started to work. I need someone to verify this to be certain I am just not lucky with the chips I have. Every CF chip I have done this with (no matter Brand) has started working.

Hi Stephen J Carden,

Are you sure you have the latest firmware in your Sio2IDE. I remember there was a slight issue with CF cards in the past, but after updating to the latest firmware every CF card here works on my setup.

Perhaps it matters which version of Sio2IDE you have. I have the simple version 3.3 which is great for me (even better than the newer Sio2IDE 4.x).
