+Stephen
I think its a taint calibrating rod. In that case, what's the safety pin for?
Bumzyman
It is for delicately lifting a component off a board when your desoldering it. It's made out of thin wires to prevent you from being able to apply too much lifting force.
Bumzyman
In that case, what's the safety pin for? That's to pin it closed if you rip it open
russg
In that case, what's the safety pin for? The hemostat and safety pin are for poking a hole when cleaning a solder hole, and I don't know why I put that in the picture. I should have put a penny in the picture for scale. If it is a 'taint' calibrating rod, I don't know if it 'tis or 'tisn't but if it is a 't'aint I don't know. A couple small marshmellows would fit on it, but the handle is too short for a gas stove burner. I do suppose the small device for lifting a pcb component might be true. COBRAIP
Sorry you guys are all wrong. This is a Hot Dog roster. Yepper you just put your hotdog on the end of it and put it over the fire. You can roast either one or two depending how you plug them in.
