solder station, what is this?

In that case, what's the safety pin for? :)

The hemostat and safety pin are for poking a hole when cleaning a solder hole, and I don't know why I put that in the picture. I should have put a penny in the picture for scale.

If it is a 'taint' calibrating rod, I don't know if it 'tis or 'tisn't but if it is a 't'aint I don't know. A couple small marshmellows would fit on it, but the handle is too short for a gas stove burner.

I do suppose the small device for lifting a pcb component might be true.
