bargora
That's the question. I remember not being able to do four-player on Warlords when I plugged the Multitap in. Is that because they ported/emulated the 2-player version of the arcade Warlords?
Kasenoke
Hmm... Thats strange... Warlords is also on DC, and you're able to do 4-p on it, maybe they had to emulate the 2-p version to save space?
chrisbid
because the PSX is a crappy machine
bargora
OK, everything's OK. I think the problem was that I was using a PS2 and a PS2 multitap. I hooked up my PSX and used the PSX multitap, and voila! Four player excitement! So I guess it's the PS2 (or it's multitap) that's the crappy machine. heavy-sixer
The problem was the multi-tap. You need to use a ps1 multi-tap when playing ps1 games on your ps2. I hope that makes sense.
bargora
Clear as mud! I wouldn't have thought that the PS2 multitap was so different that it would not work with PSX games. But now that you mention it, I think I've heard it before. So for PS2 games, use the PS2 multitap. For PSX games use the PSX multitap. Simple enough.
